Fort Point in San Francisco, California is situated just inside, and on the South side of, the Golden Gate Bridge. The fort is a great place to spend the day with lots of history, great views of the GG Bridge, the Bay, the surrounding cities, and of course various interesting artifacts from when the fort was a functional fort. This image is of one of the walkways through the fort. I loved the archways, one seemingly inside the other, as one looks out in the distance. What also made this particular image fun was the scalloped shadows cast by archways that are perpendicular to the walkway and out of view coupled with the semicircular patterns on the floor of the walkway. The old brick of the fort added a nice touch.
