Artist's Description
Morning light on the Oakland-Alameda Estuary between the cities of Oakland and Alameda in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. The view is from the Oakland side of the estuary looking up towards the Fruitvale Bridge, one of several bridges to make one's way from Alameda to Oakland and visa versa. On this particular morning the water is calm and almost as smooth as glass. A group of water birds swimming in the foreground break the reflection of the bridge in the water.
