As the sun sets just to the right of Mount Tamalpais and over the entire San Francisco Bay Area, the colors of the sky and those of the bay waters are stunningly beautiful in this golden hour of fading daylight. The yellows, golds, and orange to red hues in the sky complement the deep steel blues of the water with the silhouette of Mount Tamalpais creating a subtle skyline and boundary at the water's edge.
