Yosemite National Park is a most spectacular, scenic and exceptionally beautiful place to visit. Visible in this image is Upper Yosemite Falls as framed by the granite walls that surround the valley floor and the beautiful trees that abound in the park. The image was captured with an infrared camera designed to recognize and record more than just the visible spectrum of light, adjusted in post processing to create the surreal, otherworldly colors of the trees and meadow grasses that you see here. It is my hope that you enjoy the fun, the interesting, and even hauntingly beautiful effects that can be achieved with infrared photography as much as I do.
