A digitally modified photograph of Northern California's Pigeon Point Lighthouse located in Pescadero, California just off the coast highway 1 and roughly 50 miles south of San Francisco According to the Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park website, the lighthouse is one of tallest lighthouses in America and dates back to November 15, 1872 when it's light was first lit. The state park and the lighthouse are a wonderful destination to visit when one is in the area.
