This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.
Artist's Description
This picture was taken when Hale-Bopp was closest to the earth in March of 1997. There was a full moon in the sky setting in the west which lit up the snow on Mount Shasta while the comet rose up in the early morning hours before dawn. It was quite spectacular.

Thanks Michele. I feel truly blessed that I got a couple of good shots when I set out to capture the event given that I had no tripod, I was shooting with film and only had a 12-exposure roll and had never done this type of night photography before, and I also had a playful cat that wanted to get my attention any way possible (which included batting at my camera occasionally as it rested on a rock pointed toward Mount Shasta and the night sky - LOL). It was definitely worth the effort though!
