A Cardinal Meadowhawk Dragonfly quietly perched on a twig-branch, resting in the warmth of the sun. I cam across this bright red-orange colored dragonfly when walking the trail from the trail head ot to Abbotts Lagoon in the Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California.
