Artist's Description
This image was taken at Pheiffer Beach in Big Sur, California. As is true with many of the beaches along the California coastline, There is a giant rock formation located in the surf where the waves break, and in this case there is a sizable portal through the mountain of rocks. During a short period in the winter as the sun sets and the waves break against the rock the splash from the waves is illuminated by the setting sun which is quite lovely to observe.
About Her Arts Desire
Thank you for visiting my website. It was Marcel Proust that said, “The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” I love seeing the world through what could be considered a new set of eyes, my camera lens. Mostly I capture images in nature and in my general surroundings that touch my heart, that spark my imagination and/or that move my creative spirit. It is my hope you find one or more images here that touch and move you in some way as well. I invite you to browse through each of the galleries to find those images speak to you or that you know would be a perfect gift for a loved one or a friend.
