About Her Arts Desire
Thank you for visiting my website. It was Marcel Proust that said, “The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new landscapes but in having new eyes.” I love seeing the world through what could be considered a new set of eyes, my camera lens. Mostly I capture images in nature and in my general surroundings that touch my heart, that spark my imagination and/or that move my creative spirit. It is my hope you find one or more images here that touch and move you in some way as well. I invite you to browse through each of the galleries to find those images speak to you or that you know would be a perfect gift for a loved one or a friend. Her Arts Desire, Thank You for your share. Where is Coit Tower? GJ
Her Arts Desire replied:
Coit Tower is in San Francisco. It was built in the 1930's as a monument to volunteer firefighters. The tower has been known to be lit up in all red to honor fallen firefighters. It has also been known (as you see here) to be lit up to honor the firefighters and first responders of 911. I believe that the monument was created in the shape of the nozzle of a fire hose.
