The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

A view of Bowling Ball Beach at sunset as seen through the natural opening in this large piece of driftwood on the beach. The beach gets its name from the many large round rocks laying almost neatly in rows in the surf. The beach is located on the Northern California Coast not too far from Mendocino
