Originally, this image is of an ocean wave crashing through a rather large portal than is part of an even larger rock formation sitting in the surf at Pheiffer Beach, located near Big Sur in Northern California. There are a couple of times during the year when the position of the setting sun will cause the sun's rays to light up the mist and water droplets that are created as the waves smash through the open portal. It's quite a beautiful image even without any modifications/digital enhancements but the ones made hear created a different, more abstract and vivid beach scene lighting up the full spectrum of colors within the image from warm to cool, with an added glow and vibrancy that brings the image to life. A beautiful beach-scene abstract that would complement any room's decor.
