I love that primates can so easily remind us of ourselves. I caught this tender moment of selfless love at the Oakland Zoo when after extended play and exploration time, this infant baboon settled into its mothers arms to nurse. The expression of the mother baboon says it all; motherhood can be such a daunting, tireless, endless, and exhausting task. Yet no matter how tired mothers will always take care of their young.
