The vineyards of the Alexander Valley in Northern California are so beautiful in fall as the vines take on the gorgeous colors of autumn. Many of the grapes have already been harvested and are on their way to becoming wonderful varieties of wine that the Napa / Sonoma area of Northern California is so well known for. As you can see this image is of a variety of white wine grapes that have been left on the vine and are slowly drying in the sun and becoming raisins.
